Each year the Knoxville Gem & Mineral Society host a Gem, Mineral and Jewelry Show to the public. This show is a must see for any rock connoisseur or anyone with a love and fascination with gems, minerals, fossils, and other mineralogical and geological wonders.
The three day 24th Annual Gem, Mineral & Jewelry Show opens October 17th at 10 am at the Kerbela Temple, 315 Mimosa Ave in Knoxville TN. Show times are from 10:00 am to 6 pm October 17th - 18th, Friday and Saturday; from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sunday, October 19th. The Gem Show is open to the public and has an admission fee of $5 a day for adults or $8 for the whole show; childern under 12 are free. The Gem and Mineral Show will have many vendors that offer great products including a wide variety of jewelry, rare fossil and mineral specimens, meteorites, gems of all colors shapes & sizes, lapidary & jewelry equipment, and much more.
The Knoxville Gem and Mineral Society is a non-profit organization. A portion of the proceeds from our annual show is used for educational purposes in the earth sciences. This includes scholarships to the University of Tennessee Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences.
Bridgemore Academy is one of the leading Homeschool Umbrella Schools in Tennessee and they offer homeschooling moms and families with a wide range of services including a full umbrella program and curriculum planning services.
They also provide guidance for new homeschoolers and have an advanced online portal that is designed to help mothers/teachers to keep track of student grade, attendance, and other details.

I would love to visit the Titanic museum in Pigeon Forge. I have been to the museum in Branson. It was very cool. My husband and I spent 3 hours there. We could have stayed longer but it was the last day of our trip and we had to head home. I would love to see the museum in Pigeon Forge to see the similarities and also the differences.
