Event Description

Knoxville Gem and Mineral Society’s 23rd Annual Gem, Mineral and Jewelry Show will have many vendors that offer great products including a wide variety of jewelry, rare fossil and mineral specimens, meteorites, gems of all colors shapes & sizes, lapidary & jewelry equipment and much more. There will be panel of local experts on hand to help identify the rocks, minerals and gems on Saturday.  Educational children’s activities and displays we be available for kids of all ages. The Knoxville Gem and Mineral Society is a non-profit organization. A portion of the proceeds from our annual show are used for educational purposes in the earth sciences. This includes scholarships to the University of Tennessee Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences and East Tennessee State University Department of Geosciences.

Friday & Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00p.m.

Sunday 11:00 to 5:00p.m. 

Adults: $5.00

Show Pass: $8.00

Children under 12: Free

I would love to visit the Titanic museum  in Pigeon Forge. I have been to the museum in Branson.  It was very cool.  My husband and I spent 3 hours there.  We could have stayed longer but it was the last day of our trip and we had to head home.  I would love to see the museum in Pigeon Forge to see the similarities and also the differences.  What artifacts they have that weren't in Branson.  I can't belive it has been 100 years since that terrible night.  I know it was a tragic thing.  But I…
